The ratings for the view has gone way up I bet. The Apprentice has sank, but I bet that happens to all shows like that. It is wierd to "grown ups" talk like this.

Yesterday “The View” co-host Barbara Walters stuck up for Rosie O’Donnell and today Madonna did the same. Madonna told the NBC “Today” show that "People are giving Rosie a hard time. I wish they'd stop. I don't think it's fair."

Madonna said that she first heard of the dispute with Donald Trump while she was vacationing in the Indian Ocean. She quickly sent off an e-mail to O’Donnell giving her some support.

Lindsay Lohan has decided to go into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. Just last month it was confirmed that she was attending Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings. The actress was reprimanded by a studio executive last July for her late night partying.

Lohan confirmed that she has gone into rehab through her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, according to a report from TMZ. "I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time."

Keith Urban thanked his wife, Nicole Kidman for staying "extraordinarily strong and loving" through the 90 days of his rehab. He also thanked his family, friend and fans for their support while he was at the Betty Ford clinic in Palm Springs, California.

He said in a video taped statement available on his website, that there was not one defining moment or clarified his decision to enter rehab “But, what it was a lot of small things that were happening in my life and a lot of small moments that were starting to accumulate that were telling me very loud and clear that I was a long way from my program of recovery and they were making my life unmanageable.”

(Best Syndication) The seatbelt could have saved Nichole Kidman from serious injury as her Jaguar crashed into a poll while filming the movie “Invasion” in a Los Angeles business district Thursday morning. The Daily Telegraph describes the car as going “out of control.” The car swung around a corner and slammed into a light post. The accident occurred at about 1 AM. (see Video link Below)

The car was being towed by a stunt truck as it crashed sending glass, car parts and stuntmen flying through the air. Several of the stuntmen were injured as they portrayed “zombies” clinging to the top of the car. The film is loosely based on the classic horror flick “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”.

Ryan O’Neal says he was trying to defend himself from his adult son when he fired the pistol that sent him to jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm. The 65 year old television and movie star says that his 42 year old son, Griffin, instigated the incident by swinging a fireplace poker at him.

O’Neal told the Los Angeles Times that his son grazed him "four or five times" before Griffin began to pursue him up the stairs. That is when Ryan fired a shot into the banister scaring him away. ...

But the whole story above is disputed by a report from the Enquirer. Their account indicates that Redmond was found by Griffin and Berry unconscious in his bedroom while O’Neal was away. Paramedics were called to the scene and revived Redmond who refused to go to hospital. So Griffin decided to chain his younger brother up around his neck and legs with a rope.

Canada.com says that when O’Neal came home from Farrah’s 60th birthday party, he found Redmond tied up in the dog-run. According to the report in the new issue of the National ENQUIRER, Griffin and Joanne were acting as “minders” for Redmond, who has a history of drug abuse.

If I remember correctly, Griffin Oneal got busted in the late 80's for something pretty bad. Killing a friend while drunk driving maybe? I'll have to look that up. Can't believe he's 42.. damn time flies!

OK, Griffin claims his dad had the fireplace poker. If he had the poker, why did he fire the gun? It is a strange case and both sides have their own story.

Tatum is 42 or 43 also, and she came out on the side of her brother, Griffin. She was not even there.

The article has a video that shows Ryan getting hit in the head with a water bottle, and they said Grifin threw the bottle. Tatum says she has not spoken with her dad in years and they don't get along. Wow, I hope my kids like me when I get into my 60's.

It has been a busy week for Britney Spears as she checked herself in and out of rehab and then shaved her head. What is next for the 25 year old pop star?

Extra first reported that Spears checked herself into Eric Clapton's Crossroads Centre in Antigua two or three days ago, and then TMZ reported that she left within one day. Now the local ABC television affiliate is reporting, with video, that she has shaved her head.

The KABC newscaster, Michelle Tuzee, asks if Britney is “going out of control”. She was videotaped at the Sherman Oaks tattoo shop “Body and Soul”, reportedly getting a tattoo of a pair of red and pink lips on her wrist.

(Best Syndication) It has been a whirlwind week for the pop-star Britney Spears after she checked herself into rehab, and then out, and then shaves her head and gets a tattoo. This left many celebrity watchers wondering if she had lost control and her sanity, but most agree that the latest rehabilitation effort could do her good.

Last week she was in and out of rehab in the Caribbean, but today the website TMZ is reporting that she has checked herself into the ritzy Promises treatment center in Malibu. They also report that paparazzi have followed her.
