Online Dating has become one of the most popular paid subscription sites around. They make more sales than the online adult sites do and have done so three years in a row.

The reason that the online dating services have become so popular is because of the ease of meeting singles with like minded interests. No longer is the bar scene the popular meeting method of days gone by. You can increase your chances of meeting that compatible person instead of waiting for the chance of an opportunity to come to you.

When E-Harmony came out with their extensive profile questionnaire me and my ex went on the site and filled out all the info just to see if it would pick us for each other. We never did get picked for each other. We didn't take it seriously at the time. What I didn't get is that I absolutely abhore math and it kept sending me profiles of math teachers!! Confused

LOL. I think my wife and I have a lot in common. She is different, but I could not find a more perfect match, or at least someone I would want to live with.

I signed up my formerly single sister-in-law. IT wasn't e-Harmony, but one of those other ones. $29.95 or something like that.

She never got one solicitation; she sent out a couple e-mails, that's it. I made her give me back my moola.

Should I tell them sweetheart?? OK, my wife used the service before we were married. I don't know which one. She had lots of dates. One got a little more "personal" that she liked. I had lots of competition. Doctors, lawyers etc. I was almost broke but she still liked me.

I don't understand the whole thing of online dating. I mean, yes, it can be convenient for SOME people, but it can also be really really dangerous. People can get sexually harassed, stalked, and even kidnapped or raped because they decide to meet someone they met over the internet. After a bag incident occurs, they wonder, "Why me?" Well, isn't it obvious that you shouldn't use an online source like that. I mean, yes, of course it works for SOME people. But if people use it in the wrong way than they SHOULD have to suffer the consequences. I personally chose to meet people in and around me that I know a little bit better than just some random person you talk to on the internet.
