Lindsay Lohan Wants To Make Grown-Up Movies

The nineteen year-old Lindsay Lohan will be celebrating her 20th birthday next month, and she is more concerned about her career right now than romance. Lohan told Harper’s Bazaar “I need to focus on my career and getting my life in order."

She does not want to marry young like her mother. “My mom married young, but it was a different time," she said. “I've heard that guys are intimidated by me even though I'm not an intimidating person."

One thing for sure, Lindsay has become a first rate star, with hits like “Mean Girls”, "Freaky Friday" and "Herbie: Fully Loaded." In fact, now she only wants to work with well known directors. The Miami Herald reported that she has walked away from her new movie, Bill. Why? According to the Herald, “The film's first-time directors aren't well-known enough.”

People magazine has the United States exclusive, Hello! Magazine from London and New Idea magazine from New Zealand will be the first to show off Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.

It turns out that Shiloh has inherited Jolie’s full lips. She has a light sandy brown hair. If you can't get to the supermarket to pick up your copy you can see the cover of the magazine at People's website.

Most romance movies are about two people getting together, but the new Vince Vaughn-Jennifer Aniston comedy, is a mold-breaker. The movie Break-Up is about two people breaking-up. For this reason you might expect the movie to fail.

Many movie reviewers said the movie would be flop. But that is what they said about the Da Vinci Code as well; however both movies are doing great. So much for what the critics say. Break-Up grossed over $38 million the first weekend, making it the third biggest opening weekend for a romantic comedy.

With all of the horror films being produced lately, I think people are looking for a comedy, any comedy. Movie-goers would even settle for reverse-romance called The Break-Up.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Baby Pictures Released - Newborn Shiloh Nouvel Born May 27th - Couple Leaves Namibia Africa For Malibu

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have left Namibia and are likely headed to their $9 million Malibu California Estate with their newborn daughter, Shiloh. It has been reported that a “massive amount of liquor" was delivered to the home Wednesday and that construction and cleaning crews have been at the home.

The couple held a press conference in Namibia before they left, where Pitt, 42, said “We are very proud that our daughter was born here, and we leave with fond memories and definitely hungry to return."
The 31 year old Jolie gave birth to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt on May 27 at a private clinic in the resort town of Walvis Bay. According to AP reports, the baby weighed 7 pounds and was said to be in good health.

Oprah Winfrey will be having a special program on Monday concerning weight-loss. She says that the most common questioned asked of her is “How does she lose weight and keep it off?” Here special is expected to feature a man who lost 500 pounds without surgery. A woman lost 85 pounds and will make her TV debut in a bikini.

Oprah had many years of weight gain and loss. She would say on Monday “I'm going to do it" and then by Wednesday she would be failing. She now realizes that the commitment to do well and to be well is a lifetime of choices that you make daily. She says that true commitment does not come when you say "I'll try" Or "I want to" or "I really want to." The true commitment comes when you say, "I have decided."

Oprah says she does not have the genetics or body type to function without exercise. She must make a daily choice to exercise to stay fit. She says she does this the way she takes a bath, as a necessity.

Britney Spears Poses for Cover of Harpers Bazaar Magazine - Available on Newsstands Now - Saddened over Criticism of NBC Dateline Show

Britney Spears has changed her hair color and is now appearing naked on the cover of Harpers Bazaar magazine. This is after Spears was slammed for her scruffy appearance on the NBC Dateline show on June 15th. According to the New York Post, her fans called her hair a “rats nest”.

Us Magazine says she felt horrible about the criticism. “She felt terrible,” says a source. “She didn’t understand her image problem until the negative feedback about Dateline. She pulled out her extensions and bought a bottle of dark hair dye” (calling her doctor first to ask if it was safe for her unborn child).

Britney’s rep says the hair color is made of vegetable dye and will wash right out. These hair colors are temporary and must be reapplied after each shampooing according to the FDA. The color agents may consist of water, organic solvents, gums, surfactants and conditioning agents.

Daytime Television show, “The View” gives co-host Star Jones Reynolds the Boot Early

Star Jones Reynolds, 44, got the boot earlier than expected from the popular daytime show called “The View.” Barbara Walters announced this Wednesday saying “It is becoming uncomfortable for us to pretend that everything is the same at this table. Therefore, regrettably, Star will no longer be on this program."

It was only on Tuesday that Reynolds announced that she will be leaving “The View” daytime TV show. Originally her last day was to be through July 13th. She has been a co-host on “The View” for 9 years.

Possibly the reason for the early departure from the show was do to the on air announcement of her leaving the show. Star Jones Reynolds said on air yesterday, “After much prayer and counsel I feel like this is the right time to tell you that the show is moving in another direction for its 10th season, and I will not be returning as co-host next year."

The Anna Nicole Smith drama continues with Larry Birkhead filing a paternity lawsuit in Los Angeles, and Anna Nicole getting married to her lawyer, Howard K. Stern, on a sailboat off the Bahamas. Birkhead is filing the lawsuit in an attempt to establish paternity and possibly obtain visitation rights.

Anna Nicole Smith once claimed Birkhead was the father, according to Entertainment Tonight. Birkhead says that he went to the ultrasounds. He told ET "What's so funny is she stamped her handprint as the mom in the baby book, and I stamped it as the dad. And Howard was standing in the room, too. It was kind of uncomfortable, and she said, 'Howard, come here, stamp your hand,' and she wrote, 'Uncle Howard.' So why would Uncle Howard be Daddy Howard?" Howard Stern now claims to be the father, according to a report in the Seattle Post Intelligencer.

Larry Birkhead not only says that he is the father of Anna Nicole Smith’s child, but his lawsuit also claims the reality-tv show star and Playboy bunny uses drugs. There are allegations that she uses methadone, and that her boyfriend lawyer, Howard K. Stern, may be an enabler.

Birkhead, her ex-boyfriend, accuses Smith of staying in the Bahamas to keep Dannie Lynn from being subjected to drug testing. He has petitioned a Los Angeles court to test both Smith and her daughter, according to Rogers Communications entertainment reporter, Lee-Anne Goodman.

Movie Star Wesley Snipes has been indicted on charges of tax fraud and conspiracy by a federal grand jury in Tampa, Florida. This indictment was unsealed on Tuesday following a four-year investigation by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

The indictment says the 44 year old star, who currently lives in the Tampa area, has been linked to tax evasion schemes which are already being perused by the Justice Department. Two other men from Florida, Eddie Ray Kahn of Sorrento, Fla, founder of American Rights Litigators and its successor, Guiding Light of God Ministries; and Douglas P. Rosile Sr. of Venice, Fla, a former accountant were also indicted.

The Mail reports that Heather Mills’ lawyers are said to be taking the unusual step of asking for the £825million divorce battle to be heard in open court. The report indicates that her attorneys will be applying for the case to be heard in open court next month.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have finally officially announced a date for their marriage. The couple told Good Housekeeping back in June that they wanted to wait until after their baby Suri was born to get married. They wanted their daughter to be in the ceremony.

Cruise also said that "In many ways we feel like we already are married. I know I'm with the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. So the wedding – that's just the party."

The couple wants an Italian Wedding and Cruise has asked longtime friend Giorgio Armani to design the attire for the wedding. People Magazine reports that Cruise, 44, and Holmes, 27 had their first public outing as a couple, in Italy back in the spring of 2005. He was in Rome for the April 29 David di Donatello awards.

Madonna is stunned by the uproar concerning her adoption of David, her 13 month old adopted son from Malawi. She told NBC News that “When I had my daughter (LOURDES), people accused me that I did it as a publicity stunt. I expected that. I didn't expect to be accused of kidnapping, or of doing something illegal. I didn't expect to be demonized.”

In fact she told the BBC that David’s father declined financial support for the child. “I offered that option to the father and he declined.” This would have allowed the child to stay in Malawi.

Madonna dismissed reports that the father and grandmother visited the orphanage on a regular basis. "I never met a granny and I was told... that from the day that he was left in the orphanage he was not visited by any extended family members and that's really why I became interested in him.”

The pop star went on to say that "If someone had said to me, 'His dad comes every week or his granny visits on a regular basis and he's well looked after,' I would not even have given it another thought." She said that the father lives about 50 or 60 km away. Also David’s father has no car or money and, as far as she was told, had remarried and moved on with his life.
